Carla Cook Smith is the author of two books about Senoia, Georgia: "Senoia Perspectives" and "Holiday Perspectives in Senoia." A native of Savannah, Georgia, Carla moved to the south side of Atlanta 17 years ago.
The charm of Senoia beckoned Carla to take a stroll and look around. She fell in love with the historic district's pretty homes and 100 year old churches. Soon she found herself meandering downtown regularly, feeling refreshed just driving through town. Some time later, she experienced an event in town, toured a historic home, and before she knew it she was attending parties, having dinner with new friends and laughing out loud with people all over town. "The people of Senoia have shared their history, colorful stories, photos and family recipes without reservation. They have welcomed me into their homes and I have welcomed them into my heart," Carla exclaims.
